Personal Opinion on They Live (1988) Film

They Live (titled onscreen as John Carpenter's They Live) is a 1988 American science fiction action film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson. Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster, the film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.

“They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. They live.”

From this point I can say this film is a masterpiece. I have never watched such a unique film like this before. 

This film described an alien from a different perspective. It defines what “alien” really is.

The idea that aliens have taken over the world without people knowing it is something that you could do a part of things with and there are a lot of interesting ideas going away from it.

One of the best arrangements in the film seems to be that people are really willing to offer themselves as long as they are paid with a few money. The message is slapping us in the face just relevant as today.
